Band Boosters - Home

Who is a Band booster? YOU! That's right, you are and anyone who supports music is a Band booster. Support can be as simple as attending a concert to being an officer in the band booster organization.

 

Although raising money is our chief concern, the Band Boosters organization also has a huge role in supporting the students in many other ways. From transportation to providing food, managing events to chaperoning trips, the parent group is invaluable to the success of the COMPLETE instrumental music program in grades 6-12. Our band students represent our school and communities through their dedicated hard work and performances. They learn time management skills, teamwork and commitment through the various band programs offered at Gallia Academy and the time requirements it takes to learn and practice an instrument. They give up many hours of their summer vacation, as well as after school, practicing and participating in adjudicated events and concerts. This involvement positively impacts the students drive, commitment and sense of self-worth. It gives them the confidence to become all they can be. The mentorship provided by the parents who volunteer in the music boosters encourages a foundation of helping others as they progress through adulthood.

 

The Gallia Academy Band Boosters invite you to join our team! We meet the second Tuesday of every month in the High School Band Room at 7:00 p.m. Share the word, grab a friend and we hope to see you there!
